The Consumer Protection Authority, in cooperation with Oman Marketing and Services Company (OMASCO), launched a recall campaign of 1814 Honda vehicles ( Accord, Pilot, Civic, CRV, Odyssey, City , Jazz) 2018, 2019 models. Consumers can check the recall webpage on the PACP electronic portal (recall.pacp.gov.om) to verify the chassis numbers.
This recall is due to swelling and distortion caused by fuel pump cracks, petrol may leak to the fuel pump lock, completely stopping the engine. Therefore, the agency will carry out procedures in compliance with the technical instructions received from Honda.

The case in brief: The Directorate General of Consumer Protection Authority (DGCPA) in Dhofar Governorate received a complaint from a consumer against a furniture designing company that she had contracted with to make two sets of chairs valued OMR 1,000.
