The Consumer Protection Authority, in cooperation with Mohsin Haider Darwish, has launched a recall campaign for (24) Range Rover Sport vehicles, models 2024-2025. To verify the chassis numbers, consumers can refer to the recall website on the Consumer Protection Authority’s electronic portal (recall.cpa.gov.om).
The recall is due to the incorrect production of the center seatbelt buckle in the second row of seats, which results in the internal wire being incorrectly positioned in the seatbelt lock, preventing it from locking properly. This may lead to a risk of injury during an accident. Accordingly, the technicians at the company will replace the seatbelt buckle in the center seat of the second row.
These recalls confirm the efforts undertaken by the Authority in the field of road safety, in cooperation with the agencies operating in this sector, and in line with its continuous commitment to review all products offered in the markets of the Sultanate of Oman, with the aim of providing the necessary protection for consumers in all fields.
