The Consumer Protection Authority, in collaboration with Oman Marketing and Services Company (OMASCO), has launched a recall campaign for 79 Honda Pilot vehicles from model years 2023 - 2025. Consumers can verify the chassis numbers by visiting the recall website through the Consumer Protection Authority’s online portal: recall.pacp.gov.om.
This recall is due to an incomplete connection between the fuel filler neck and the fuel pipe, which may cause them to detach in the event of an accident. Accordingly, the agency will carry out the necessary procedures to fix the defect, following the technical instructions provided by Honda.
These recalls highlight the ongoing efforts of the Consumer Protection Authority in the field of road safety, in collaboration with agencies operating in this sector. They also align with the Authority’s commitment to regularly reviewing all products available in Oman’s markets to ensure the necessary protection for consumers in various fields.
