A coordination meeting was held between the Consumer Protection Authority and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, attended by H.E. Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, and H.E. Salim bin Ali Al Hakmani, Chairman of the Consumer Protection Authority, along with several officials from both entities. The meeting aimed to enhance cooperation and integration between the two parties, highlighting the importance of exchanging expertise and information. It also reviewed existing areas of collaboration, particularly in joint inspections, promotional campaigns, and discount programs. Additionally, discussions focused on conducting joint research and studies across various economic sectors to strike a balance between consumer interests and the interests of businesses, companies, and traders. This effort contributes to price stability and market regulation. Both parties also emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination to ensure the highest levels of consumer protection and to create a fair and sustainable business environment that supports the national economy.
