The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA), in cooperation with Moosa Abdul Rahman Company, initiated a recall campaign for (38) Suzuki Jimny vehicle 2018 to 2019 model. Consumers can check the recall webpage on the CPA electronic portal (recall.pacp.gov.om) to verify the chassis numbers.
This recall is due to the resin fuel pump's fuel feed impeller deforming and bulging, which causes an improper amount of fuel to be injected and material to leak into the fuel container. In the worst case scenario, the engine may stop while driving. In order to guarantee the vehicle's safety and reliability, the company will replace the fuel pump.
These recalls attest to CPA's efforts regarding traffic safety, carried out in collaboration with relevant agencies and consistent with its steadfast goal of continuously examining every product offered in Sultanate of Oman marketplaces to guarantee that consumers are adequately protected in every way.
