within the framework of integration and cooperation between government units and private educational institutions CPA signs a cooperation agreement with Mazoon and Gulf Colleges

The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) signed a joint cooperation agreement with Mazoon and Gulf Colleges. The agreement was signed by Khalid bin Issa Al Ameri, Director General of Administrative and Financial Affairs, while Mazoon College was represented by Dr. Afish Hussein, Acting Dean. The Gulf College was represented by Prof. Dr. Ali bin Hamad Al Badi, Dean of the College. The signing of the agreement comes within the framework of integration between government units and educational institutions in the Sultanate, with the aim of achieving the common goals of both parties. The agreement with Mazoon and Gulf Colleges includes strengthening cooperation in a number of areas, including benefiting from the expertise of CPA staff in the field of consumer protection and transferring knowledge to students of both colleges. It also aims to provide training programs from both parties according to the available specializations in addition to participating in activities, events and awareness programs. It also includes the organization of joint workshops and training programs. The agreement also provides for the implementation of a number of initiatives, including the initiatives by CPA on to benefit from the experience of CPA employees with regard to consumer protection, transferring knowledge to students of the two colleges, and training those who are about to graduate in CPA HQs and branches. The agreement also includes participation in activities, events and exhibitions held by CPA , including the General Exhibition and the Counterfeit Goods Exhibition. The agreement also provides for the promotion of knowledge and cultural exchange in all fields of training and in cultural forums, in addition to benefiting from the expertise of the teaching staff in the two colleges through organizing workshops and educational programs, and benefiting from scientific research centers and studies. This cooperation is an important step towards enhancing integration between government units and educational institutions to achieve common goals in Oman.
