His Excellency Sulayem bin Ali bin Sulayem Al Hakmani, Chairman of the Consumer Protection Authority (CPA), met today with His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat. The meeting was part of the CPA's initiative to engage with different governorates, fostering cooperation and communication with the consumer community and government agencies.
Key areas of discussion included the complementary role of consumer protection with other consumer-related institutions, efforts in market monitoring and inspections, identification of market realities, and enhancing joint roles to improve performance quality. A visual presentation was conducted, where Chairman Al-Hakmani showcased the competencies of the CPA and highlighted the supervisory and service powers granted to CPA administrations in the governorates.
