The Consumer Protection Authority, in cooperation with Al-Zawawi Company, has launched a recall campaign for (22) vehicles of the Mercedes-Benz Maybach 4 Matic S-Maybach / 580 models 2021-2023. Consumers can verify the chassis numbers by visiting the recall section on the Consumer Protection Authority’s electronic portal (recall.pacp.gov.om).
The recall is due to the Lambda control system in the engine control unit software not complying with specifications. In the event of a malfunction in independent devices, an incorrect increase in the amount of fuel injected by the Lambda control system may occur if a cylinder malfunctions.
